When you're well prepared - coaching youth basketball is one of the most
rewarding experiences you will ever have. Your philosophy should be
simple, if the kids learn and have fun they will come back next season.
The most successful basketball coaches are the ones that are best at
preparing their teams for each game. A well-prepared team will be
confident that it has every chance to win that game, as long as they play
hard and smart basketball. The bulk of this preparation is done on the
practice floor by working on what your team does best and by preparing
your team for what the opposition does best.
